Did You Even Know I Was Here? is a musical encounter with Paris in 2019 arranged in three parts: arrivée, interlude, insomnie. My dreams of Paris cafés, Baldwin, Camus, Baudelaire, accordions, and the Louvre commingle with the world of insomnia, strikes, capitalism, a burned Norte Dame, and yet still the hope of beauty, romance, and revolution. Some parts will catch the eye and stoke the imagination, but Did You Even Know I Was Here? is designed to be read cover to cover and get caught up in the music of a city and a man redefining himself.
